“Flowers don't worry about how they're going to bloom. They just open up and turn towards the light and that makes them beautiful." -Jim Carrey I love flowers. From wildflowers on the trails to the roses growing along my front porch and the beautiful bouquet of sunflowers sitting on my bedside table. I could fill every room of my house with flowers, and it would make my heart so happy. I mean, I was buying myself flowers long before Miley Cyrus said it was cool. Haha! Springtime is my favorite time of year because the wintery, barren landscapes around us open themselves up to new growth, life, and color. Spring is the perfect time to bloom. Flowers flourish on their own individual timeline, without worry of their progress or concern of diminishing their beauty by comparing their blossom to a neighboring flower—nature is such a great example of just that. I hope as we enter into spring and enjoy the loveliness that surrounds us, we may remember, we too are blooming and becoming—in every way we are meant to. Flourish, beautiful friends, and thrive with grace. Happy Spring! XO Rebekah |

Easter Cookie Kit Nominations |
Easter is just around the corner, and I'm so excited to continue our Easter decorating kit tradition for the fourth year. Each year, I reach out to this community for a nomination of an individual or family that could use a little extra love this season. And each year, my inbox is flooded with beautiful and heartfelt nominations from families going through difficult times, individuals fighting and surviving cancer, or those who could use a smile. The selected nominees will receive a 6-cookie decorating kit delivered to their doorstep Easter weekend. If you know of someone or someones to whom you would love to send a cookie kit, submit a nomination below. All nominations will remain anonymous, and the stories contained will be kept confidential. Please submit your nomination by April 2nd. Thank you for sharing your heart and love this Easter season. |

I am so excited and honored to announce I have been asked to be a Jury Panel Member for the CookieCon 2023- Ohio Sugar Art Show. As a Panel Member, I will have the opportunity to view and judge the incredible cookie art submitted by cookiers traveling to the conference worldwide. The cookie categories include: Things That Can Fly, Around the World, and Anything Goes. All entries are judged with strict criteria and guidelines, and the winners will be announced at the closing dinner/ceremony of the conference. With the conference only a month away, we are also hard at work prepping for our four Add-on Classes that will be taught prior to the conference. From fondant molds and rock candies to cookies and icing, everything will be packed up and shipped out by the end of the month. I hope to see many of you there! | | |
