Encore Fashion Exhibition on Dec 1: Paris Night Looks

 

The Couture Pattern Museum will be encoring "Paris Night Looks," in Santa Barbara, this Thursday, Dec 1., inside the Workzones grand entryway on the second floor at 351 Paseo Nuevo.

 

We will also be exhibiting the original, gold taffeta dress created by the original dressmaker/owner of the Madame Gres pattern in 1957.

 

Entrance is complimentary.

Insider Series: Inside Haute Couture, Dec 8.

 

After each exhibition, we host an Insider Series workshop for participants who wish to analyze the construction of these vintage haute couture designs.

 

Participants will be given gloves and will be able to touch, feel, and examine each garment carefully. It is an open and interactive forum to ask questions and be inspired by these haute couture designs.

 

You will learn about steel boning, corselettes, petticoats, horsehair braid, and more. Only $25 to attend.
