Dear Oronoque Members, 

We hope everyone is keeping cool and progress on the golf course! We appreciate everyone’s patience as the construction crew works hard on our new bunkers. Tree work will be starting shortly to make our course wider and more receptive to off-line tee shots. As we enter the “dog days” of summer I’d like to provide a few updates and results on our July tournaments. 

Our new Fourth of July Tournament format was a hit! We had team and individual games, skins, and a great BBQ to kick off the restaurant opening.

The Two Day Men’s Member-Guest was fun for all, and great to see after a two year hiatus. Our Champions were Jason Pereira and his partner Mike D’Aiuto. Jim Schlenk and Brian Casey were our Runners Up in an exciting four-hole playoff that concluded with a 20 foot birdie putt from Jason Periera.

In a fantastic turn out, we had 58 ladies come out for our Women’s One-Day Member Guest! Although the weather was hot we had some great scores and lots of fun on the golf course.

Congratulations are also due to our Women's Presidents Cup Winners Carole Guglielmino and Mary Zwecker, defeating Debbie Johnson and Cathy Bird in an exciting match!

As for Upcoming Events, we are looking forward to the One Day Member-Member on Saturday, August 20th:
