Thank you for being part of this journey with us! Since our call to action in June 2020, 485 individuals in 201 households have taken the Meatless Monday Needham (MMN) pledge to eat healthy plant-based meals every Monday for 12 weeks. Most of you completed your 12-week pledge long ago, but we are confident that you are continuing to cut out the meat as much as possible, whether it is Monday, Thursday or every day. Although the newsletter is ending, Meatless Monday continues here and all over the world. Our website and Facebook page will continue for at least another year. Please encourage your friends and neighbors to take the MMN pledge! And, if there is someone among our readers interested in continuing the newsletter, please contact us at info@meatlessmondayneedham.org. As we move into our next phase, here are some of the highlights from the past two years: - Created website and Facebook page
- Published monthly newsletter featuring products, tips, recipes, and local happenings
- Collaborated with twelve Needham organizations
- Collected pledges from 201 households representing 485 individuals
- Received the endorsement of the Needham Board of Health
- Produced events such as Meatless Monday with Dave Becker, cook-alongs, forums, etc
- Featured in the national Meatless Monday website
We hope you will keep up with the Meatless scene: |
