Why are we better together? The Meningioma Companion community is a safe place for togetherness. It may feel odd at first to connect with strangers on a Brain Tumor Zoom Support Group (BTZSG) but I assure you, the benefits far outweigh anything you can possibly imagine. Here are just a few reasons we all love to meet every week: - Connect with brain tumor peers at all stages of this journey
- Receive the understanding judgment-free support needed on the overwhelming days
- Offer compassion and share positive stories, spread hope to others
- Educate! Learn what works, doesn't work, and what to look out for
- Vent, laugh, cry, celebrate, share, and feel all the feels
Together we are making friends from all around the world and sharing our anxieties, fears, and struggles all while lifting one another up to keep fighting the good fight and celebrate life's triumphs. There is no judgment, no formalities, and no stuffy red-tape setting holding us back from expressimg. These sessions are organic, raw, inspirational, and all with real patients, in real-time, talking about real life! Come hang out with us for 75-90 minutes, you will be glad you did! Feel the betterness from togetherness. Sign up for your BTZSG sessions today! Happy Together November, Angel |

Treatment hope using an old drug! Stacy, a member of our MC community was kind enough to share this data noting the potential progress with treating brain tumors. Thanks for sharing! “It’s really promising that an existing lymphoma drug has been found to target the biological drivers of the most aggressive meningiomas and could represent the first-ever drug treatment for the disease." |

Happy November! Wishing you a memorable November. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. A day, or shall I say a long weekend, of togetherness, thankfulness, comfort foods, and quality time with the ones I love. I have hosted dinner for 15 years, I cook as best I can to honor those before me who did it, and I am always reminded of a lifetime of thankful thanksgivings. Post craniotomy, my gratitude is more than I ever thought possible. I truly feel lucky to be here willing and able to celebrate! If I have not formally met you, I hope to do so soon. Enjoy the holiday and be well. #StrongerTogether | | |
