We fell asleep in one world and woke up in another
Suddenly Disney is out of magic, Mecca is empty, and the Chinese wall is no longer a fortress
Hugs have suddenly become weapons,
and not visiting friends have become an
act of kindness and love
You realize you can’t even get the
oxygen you are fighting for if you are sick
Yet …the world continues its life, and it is beautiful. The clouds still form, rivers still run, new leaves bud then turn auburn, there's a breeze at dawn, glaciers still form, and the moss still grows on trees.
What did you see today that is beautiful and untouched by us humans? Did we create what you are seeing or does it exist without our hand or influence?
This day puts humans in perspective, confined in their homes
