My Sun & Shade Ministries: News & Updates

Hello Everyone, hope all is well with you! Happy Valentine's Day! My husband and I were invited to a Couples Valentine's Day Dinner last Saturday, at the Ministerial Institute my husband graduated from in 1992! It was such an honor to attend the dinner with other teachers, pastors, and missionaries from around the world.

The neat thing is, our son is now a student at this institute and he was actually the maître d for the dinner! All of the Zion Ministerial Institute students planned, prepared, and served the 4-course meal, and it was delicious! The menu consisted of, "I Will Never Leaf You" salad, "Stew for Two," "Marry Me Chicken," and "So Sweet Cheesecake." Very clever!

Before the evening was over, the maître d handed out roses to all the women at the dinner, and in the picture below, someone told the maître d to give his mother a kiss on the cheek 😘 which he didn't do LOL.

My husband and I will be celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary on February 25th, and we couldn't be happier. We are very pleased that both of our adult children are following God's ways, and are serving Him wholeheartedly. This brings such peace and rest.

Our grandsons are growing in faith as well. Just last week, Levi, who is 21/2 years old, asked me to pray with him because he was sick. It touched my heart! Also, his favorite song is "Jesus, Name Above All Names," and he will sing it loud and strong if you ask him too.

Below is another picture of Aaron and I at the Valentine's Dinner. We had so much fun, and it was well worth the 3 hour trip to attend! We made it an overnight stay and loved the time away.

Zion Ministerial Institute is located in Waverly, NY on Glory Hill Rd, and is the headquarters of our fellowship, Zion Fellowship International. For more information, click HERE.

I was listening to a downloaded message from Zion Fellowship International's 2016 Pastor's Convention last week and heard something so full of faith and power, I had to share it with my Readers.

The thought was this, Christians should never say, "I can't do anything," because this statement is unbiblical. Philippians 4:13 states, "I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me."

To say "we can't do anything," due to fear, anxiety, or perceived inability, is to deny God's power and strength to help us overcome.

This truth was like a power-packed punch to my spirit, and it brought such a realization of God's wonder working power that is readily available for me at any given moment.

How could I ever say, "I can't do anything," again? I never want to deny God's power and grace.

We are overcomers by the love of Christ!

We are overcomers by the blood of the Lamb!

We are overcomers by the truth that resides in us!

I pray this is an encouraging word for all of you.

Happy Valentine's Day! God Bless ❤
