Gestalt Language

 

Did you know there are two kinds of language acquisition? Gestalt processors learn language in chunks or bundles. Over time, they un-bundle these chunks, combining them into spontaneous, unique utterances.

Have you Joined Us For Little Explorers?

From dinosaurs to the beach to the farm, our little explorers have been busy! There are lots of activities to explore, including water play, sensory play, and art. This is a great opportunity for all children -- whether they need support with their communication or not.

 

Parents are also given a skill they can try to practice during our class to encourage language development in a fun, low-pressure, child-led way!
