Madams Letter Ladies, Good news! Please welcome our new Secretary Carolyn Ryzanych to 2022 Board of Directors. She volunteered to serve immediately after our January General Meeting. More good news; we have some very fun events coming up in the next few months. Please plan on volunteering your time so that we can continue our efforts of making a positive difference in our community and taking care of what’s in our own backyard. Just an hour or two; or three or four or more (tee hee) can truly make a difference. The upcoming initial sorting for the Bag ‘n Tag is Saturday and there is a LOT to sort through; it gets easier after this as we’ll be able to separate items and assign space at the Maxwell House for future donations. Remember that you can drop off items anytime at 7830 Lobean Lane in Bokeelia, but please let me know so that I can keep items safe. Text or call me at 239-910-3829. We are ready for a final Derby Committee Wrap Up Meeting to discuss our donation from the Pine Island Elementary Fishing Tournament & Derby and plan on presenting checks to the Teachers to offset their out of pocket costs for the Spring Semester, and to the school at our February General Membership Meeting. I spoke with Principal Tom Millins and he’s putting together a list of suggestions of projects that could use our assistance; for instance their Accelerated Reading Program through the P.I.E. Library needs some new books. As soon as I receive his response, I’ll schedule our meeting. Mark your calendar; we’ll be Hooking up with Miceli’s for our February 12th Blood Drive from 10:00am until 3:00pm. Don’t forget about the Winn-Dixie Community Bags. For every bag purchased at $2.50 until January 31st, we receive $1.00. It’s a Winn-Win!! I truly look forward to working with all of you in the coming year. Hookers Rule! Madam DJ |

Since we use the free version of WIX for both our website and emails, the Herald emails actually go out under a different email address which she does not have access to. |
