Our Settlement Initiative is in Full Stride!

We would like to welcome and thank our clients, new and old, who are participating in our 2019 multi-company settlement initiative of prospective Louisiana Workers Compensation and United States Longshore & Harbor Workers' Claims.

Please accept our invitation to join our claim resolution initiative. Hopefully, the following will help you decide if this settlement promotional is right

for you, your organization, and stakeholders.

When do I need to begin thinking about settlement?

Early and often. Just as a claim has a beginning, it also will certainly have a conclusion.  Therefore, looking through the lens of resolution at the inception of a loss and enabling parties to script an ending will consistently lead to meaningful and quality closures.

Yeah, but it's too soon!

Perhaps...? Hopefully it invokes thought such as: Will additional discovery provide a better outcome? If so, at what cost? Will an SMO add any greater value, or once the outcome is baked in, does it become a detriment? What type of return will one receive on additional surveillance dollars spent? How does the Employer benefit?

Better Late Than Never.

Just as this is accurate for seeking an education or returning a library book, workers' compensation cases generally just get more expensive over time.  Typically, the parties least likely to benefit from paying out a claim over time are the employer and the injured worker.
