Request for Volunteers to help with Supply Pick Up for the
PIE 2020 Back to School Drive
Our Back to School Drive for PIE begins at the end of May and
will run through the end of July
The new school year starts on August 10th, and whether it ends up being an in-school or online format, school supplies will still be
needed for our PIE students.
Karen Durand has agreed to chair the drive this year and is
looking for a few volunteers to help collect products from bins we place around the island, and drop them off at PIE during the months of
June and July.
Given the current environment and to minimize public health concerns,
we will be leaning heavily on monetary donations
which will be used to purchase the supplies still needed at the end of July.
However, now that businesses are starting to open,
we are hopeful to get some bins placed around the island for product donations this summer.
