Coaches Corner
Tennis is always a game where the person who makes the last ball wins the point. And as the top pros and top recreational players know all too well, keeping your opponent off balance is crucial to them making errors and NOT hitting winners. Keep your opponent in a position on the court that they do not care for. If they have a weaker net game, draw them to the net. If they do not like low balls, slice it low. If they do not like high balls, hit them high. It may sound simplistic, but when you focus on what makes your opponent NOT do so well, you have a concrete game plan that will work.
