7:00 a.m. til Midnight!
Start with coffee early and we'll dress the pig.
We'll put 'im on the grill and the experience will begin.
Over the next 10 hours, play with the kids.
Bring the grandkids ... they'll LOVE it!
There's cornhole and horseshoes.
And a climbing clubhouse.
Read a book out in the hammock ...
let the smell of the slow, savory roasting pig
waft through your senses.
You'll baste, inject, turn, rotate and baste some more.
Have waffles and bacon while you wait.
Or nibble on local fish and hush puppies.
Sip a local cider (or two).
Go exploring. Wade around Possum Trot Creek.
Skip stones.
We'll have a roaring bonfire all day.
Sit back and relax.
(It's Spring in full bloom, after all!)
And at 4:00, we'll sit down
under the trees
and have a down-home,
southern Virginia dinner:
