I took last weekend off to celebrate my birthday, and honestly, gather my thoughts. Today I have highlights from our amazing, sold-out fundraiser comedy show on 10/19. We raised almost $1,000 for United Hatzalah, and it would be great if you could help us get there by donating here! Today is the last day of the fundraiser (thanks to those of you who have already donated!). Our next Kugels and Komedians show is Nov. 16 (discount code below).

I'm also sharing some of my best Halloween costumes, and, on a more somber note, some of my feelings and fears as a Jew right now. It's been emotional to say the least.

I've been heads-down putting the final touches on our new book, Hot Jewish Hanukkah (preview below) I can't wait for you to all see it! xo

A sold-out fundraiser comedy show

Almost 80 people attended our last show on Oct. 18. Everyone had a great time and it was one of our best shows yet. Plus, we raised money for United Hatzalah (donations are still open but ending today here). If you want to see the show, I have it recorded here in parts one and two (it's unedited! my set is in part 2). I've been sharing short clips on social media on @kugelsandkomedians. We're thinking the December show (12/13, save the date!) will be Mitzvah or Shandah.

Hot Jewish Hanukkah

I started working on this book with Michael (@HotJewishEnergy) in March. We're retelling the story of Hanukkah on a college campus. Who knew the story sadly would become more relevant than ever. But, working on this is bringing me so much joy. The book is hilarious — it's part graphic novel, part guide with influencers in the story. We're releasing the cover and order details on social media on Weds, and I'll include it in the next newsletter on Sunday.

Feelings as a Jew

These past few weeks have been really hard. Throwing myself into all of my shows and creative projects is all I can do to keep from being paralyzed by fear and sadness. Here are some of my feelings (this is a cartoon is a work in progress).

Despite everything, I'm also more motivated and inspired to keep creating than ever. Thanks for reading. Hope to see you soon!
