Demo Day in Brussels

i4Q Project participated in the Manufacturing Partnership Day in September 26th, in Brussels. It was a very interesting event organised by EFFRA that offered the opportunity to the participants to present their work and get socialised with several projects in the industrial manufacturing domain.

There was an i4Q booth where the project was visible to all visitors and a 15-minute presentation accompanied our presence in the event, giving us the chance to communicate our work and some of our results to the audience. We were happy to meet such interesting people and discuss about new collaborations and opportunities.

Plenary Meeting in Pesaro

Two great days of meeting were organized by our partner Biesse in their facilities in Pesaro. It was the opportunity to discuss several aspects of the project including the integration of the technical solutions on the pilot sites and their future exploitation.

We had also the chance to visit the BIESSE factory and see which challenges they face and how the situation will improve with i4Q suites.

Thank you to the local team for the organization!

Transforming Manufacturing Together : i4Q collaboration with OPTIMAI and Penelope projects

i4Q and its sister projects PeneloPe EU and OPTIMAI are part of the #4ZDM cluster, and they have decided to upscale their collaboration in the frame of one Horizon Result Booster.

Several communications were done in this frame : webinars, videos, factsheets and especially our policy brief about : Zero-defect and large-scale manufacturing – human-centric, open and ethical aspects of Factories of the Future / Made in Europe projects. You may find it at : https://shorturl.at/HKNV0

On December 5th, we had our joint webinar, 'Transforming Manufacturing Together – Worker-Centric I4.0 Solutions'. This webinar was hosted by Digital Factory Alliance and had over 50 attendees. For i4Q project, Dr. Georgia Apostolou, from CERTH, and Dr Miguel Angel Mateo-Casali from UPV highligted the different technical solutions developed and their impact on the pilots' processes. The webinar ended with a panel discussion where attendees had the opportunity to engage and ask questions.
