I hope your transition into summer is going well and you're enjoying the celebrations of father figures in your lives. We celebrated a few days ago with a family dinner + bread pudding (my father-in-law's favorite) cuz my husband would be gone with two of our sons on a Philmont trek. Today he's climbing about in the glories of nature with 2/3 of his sons hiking along with him...one of his favorite places to be.
Some of us may not be geographically close or even emotionally close to our Dads. Some of us may be missing our fathers today because they have passed away or are estranged.
I'm grateful for our heavenly Father's constant presence and grace. He stands in the gap for us when we're lacking something dear.
My Dad was a carpenter, spending most of his adulthood building houses. My hubby has a variety tools for projects around the house. Each of them knows that having the right tool for the job makes the task easier. What's in your toolbox?
