New Beginnings

You know that free-fall feeling, when you let go of one trapeze and are flying in midair reaching to grab the next one that's just out of reach?

Letting go of what you know, to reach for the next thing that you know is right, means there's a moment of unknown... of falling... of transition.

Call us the flying acrobats! Oy Vey! :-)

"Transformation of fear may have nothing to do with making fear go away, but rather with giving ourselves permission to "hang out" in the transition zone -- between the trapeze bars -- allowing ourselves to dwell in the only place where change really happens."

~Danaan Perry

So, what have we been up to?

Well, we've had moments of great sadness and a little fear mixed with a dose of anxiety about what's to come....

BUT

we've also had some incredible moments of celebration!

So many warm fuzzies, so much laughter, snotty heartfelt endearing moments, stories, and lots of reminiscing.

Over 9 years and 6 locations of furniture, files, dust bunnies, books, paperclips, and epic contraband....it took a village to create and a village to wrap it up.

We have so many people to thank - too many to name.

But you know who you are <3

We want to give an extra special "Thank You!" to Mamma Maria, for your tireless hard work and unwavering support - always, and to Aunt Janet, for being a pillar of strength and support.

It meant a lot to spend quality time with some very special people...including our oldest members, the best EPIC staff we could ask for, and our clients - the inspiration for taking this epic leap.

We did it! xoxoxox

From Julie:

It was Saturday - getting toward the end of packing up - and we were exhausted, sweaty, and kinda cranky.

Nicole was losing it...like trying on all the old Halloween costumes from the attic instead of packing.

That's when I realized, we are so

conditioned to work, work, work - especially when there's so much to do.

Just push through it, right?

Bullshit....

So that's when I turned to Nicole and

said, "Hey! Lets take Monday off and go to the Harry Potter

exhibit in NYC!"

Nicole looked @me like I had 5 heads. "Are you

crazy?"

Then I saw that familiar look in her eye (I love that look! It means

something fun is going to happen). Her expression changed

and she said with a child-like voice,

"Can we?" I responded, "Why

not?!"

We needed a change of scenery and to do

something fun... within minutes our tickets were booked.

Long story short, it was a fun day of laughs + rejuvenation.

Just what we needed.

Pushing thru something, especially a big transition,

is not always the answer.

Sometimes you have to step back,

change your attitude, perspective, mood, scenery- whatever -

and do the unexpected.

And a little wingardium leviosa never hurt anyone;-)

We have so much more to tell you and lots of exciting things to share!

SOON....we will share our new website, talk about the new epic brand, and tell you about some of the very exciting things that are in the cooker!

Love to you all!
