BULWER ISLAND ENERGY AND HYDROGEN RECOVERY FACILITY (PROJECT PROTON) - SITE VISIT

The Wildfire team inspected the site for the first commercial MIHG project at Bulwer Island, Pinkenba near the Brisbane Airport on a beautifully sunny Queensland day in August! . . . the site preparations for Project Proton arranged by BP are looking good and geotechnical surveys are planned for the coming month. Our site plans and layouts are nearly complete and the Wildfire team is currently evaluating proposals for execution of the Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) study which is the next major project development activity. Wildfire is aiming to start construction next year and bring the first phase of the project into operations in 2025.

PETRONAS FUTURETECH 3 UPDATE

Wildfire is actively participating in the Petronas FutureTech 3 accelerator. Over the past month our team has held meetings with Petronas Ventures and a number of Petronas business units to identify and develop use cases for a possible Proof of Concept collaboration centred around deployment of our MIHG technology. In addition, the Wildfire team has benefited from "Mentor Madness" sessions along with master classes on business models, intellectual property, storytelling and pitching! We've also been introduced to a wide range of deep tech, climate tech and impact investors from across the Asia Pacific Region. Wildfire has also been featured in the CNA news article about the program sponsored by Petronas - click on the link below to read more . . .

WILDFIRE PRESERIES A AND SERIES A FUNDING ROUNDS

Being an early-stage growth company, Wildfire is looking to raise funds to progress its business plan and take advantage of a huge global market for its MIHG waste management technology and skills.

Wildfire is currently looking for investors to participate in a PreSeries A convertible note, which is priced at a discount to the future Series A round. Funds will be used to progress Project Proton FEED ready for construction, progress MIHG pilot plant and commercial development and expand our team with strategic roles and for working capital.

In 2024, Wildfire will conduct a Series A funding round to raise $15 - 20 million to construct Project Proton (together with Calix), expand partnering relationships into new jurisdictions such as Europe and USA, develop our second and third projects currently in our Australia/Asia pipeline, and expand our technology offering into new markets such as green methanol and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
