America the Beautiful

Bryce Amphitheater

This Spring brought an end to my travel drought driven by the onset of the Covid 19 pandemic. Although we continue to be mindful of our new world, we are happy to be out capturing again. This trip takes you through the Canyons of the Western USA National Parks. Offering some of the most unique viewpoints of the history of our earth, these National Treasures are both awe inspiring and humbling. From standing on what used to be a tidal flat at the edge of an ocean in Zion looking up at the rock layers representing hundreds of millions of years of erosion, viewing the city of rock hoodoos and fins of Bryce Canyon, the world’s greatest concentration of natural stone arches in Moab, the buttes and mittens in historic Monument Valley, the elegant erosion and textures of Antelope Canyon, the massive scale of Horseshoe Bend and finally to the rock formations of Sedona Arizona. Come along on my journey with me. You can view new images in the Landscape Gallery of my website. I will be posting the behind-the-scenes stories on my “Tuesdays with David” blog and adding products to my shop over the coming weeks. I was planning on taking this trip in the Fall of 2020 and although it was postponed 2 years, it was worth the wait. Check out the highlights @dlshedlarz on Instagram for a sneak peek.

Be Well,
