Rig Update

The March frac fleet numbers show a continued recovery from the large drop-off due to weather the week of the 2/19 report. 200 active crews are the most since April 2020.

Upstream O&G "Efficiency"

 

As a follow-up to previous posts about Oil and Gas upstream employment, I expanded upon the employment "efficiency" slide. 


I put the ratio together to show the relationship between US hydrocarbon production vs. upstream employment.

Custom Symbols in ArcGIS Pro

 

I put together a map showing the horizontal wells spud by date across the Appalachian Basin in 2020. The version below is a time map created in ArcGIS Pro.

 

 

I ended up not using this map for the presentation I'm putting together. But it was the first time I created custom .svg symbols to use in ArcPro. Using QGIS, I had to create custom symbols before to replicate styles from ArcGIS. However, I had not previously imported .svgs to use in ArcPro.

Appalachia Weekly Drilling Rigs 2019 vs 2020

I have attached a plot of weekly drilling rigs in Appalachia comparing 2019 and 2020. All three states show a reduction in rigs. This page is part of an oral presentation I am putting together, so the slide has large graphics and little text.
