Only 7 Months to Go Until The 43rd Three Peaks Yacht Race

After a difficult year we're so looking forward to holding the postponed 43rd edition of the race, starting June 19th next year, and that means there is only 7 months to go!

Entries are open, and are filling up nicely, with entries already received in the monohull, mulithull and Challenge categories.

The entry details and forms are on the website, and for anyone unsure about entering in case Covid might intervene again, a full refund is guaranteed should the worst happen.

We're encouraging all would-be teams to enter early to help us plan ahead and anyone thinking about joining us should contact the Race Secretary Ian Sadler on secretary@threepeaksyachtrace.co.uk

It's best to plan ahead anyway, as those 7 months will pass all too quickly!

Pip Pip Hooray!

Pip Hare holds a special place in the race records. With Charles Hill she completed an incredible double-handed Three Peaks Yacht Race in 2017.  Yes, the two of them completed all the sailing and all the running, and the photo shows them on the finish line.

Right now Pip is competing in the mighty Vendee Globe, sailing solo, non-stop around the world and we are cheering her on all the way!

If you want to know more about her boat Medallia, and the incredible challenges she will face, this video is well worth watching.

“More men have walked on the moon than women have completed the Vendée Globe, which is all the inspiration I need to succeed.”  Pip Hare

Look after yourselves and stay safe!

Yours in adventure,

The Three Peaks Yacht Race Crew
