Looking for something to do together during the Easter holidays? Ever wanted to learn to make your own candles? Why not book into our special Parent and Child Candle Making Workshop!

Join Kay Armatage, founder of alkamy.co.uk for a workshop into candle making. Learn about candle waxes, fragrance oils, wicking and the science behind candle making in this relaxed workshop. You will be walked through the entire process of making natural wax container candles, with fragrances, and you will make two container candles to take home with you.

This TWO HOUR workshop is aimed at those parents/carers wishing to attend with their children and is suitable for beginners. The price includes all tuition, materials, equipment and light refreshments. Please note, due to handling hot wax and concentrated fragrance oils, it is essential that all children are accompanied by an adult (parent, carer, guardian) who MUST SUPERVISE THE CHILD AT ALL TIMES. Not recommended for children under the age of 10 years and NOT recommended for pregnant women.

Price per child (parent goes free): Make Two Heart Shaped 50ml Container Candles £25

Upgrades to larger 100ml container candles are available on the day for an additional £5 charge. Adults wishing to make their own candles on the day can do so at a cost of £3.50 per heart candle and £5 per larger round candle.

Please note that ticket sales/deposits are non-refundable. However, should you cancel at least 48 hours or more before the start of the workshop, then we will permit re-bookings on to another available candle making workshop by alkamy at the SAME venue.
