December 2023

As 2023 wraps up, we can hardly believe how quickly one year passes. The RVSA is proud of the recent films we produced (see more on that below), the Annual Field tour, and engagement with important policy issues connected to sustaining work ranch lands, wildlife, and land management.

We look forward to working together and keeping you connected with our work in 2024.

Have a Merry Christmas and a happy holiday! 🎄

Beavers and Cattle

Life in remote and wild areas is often unknown or misunderstood. Beavers and livestock management is a relationship that is one of those topics.

The RVSA created this film to highlight the important relationship between ranching in the Upper Ruby and beavers. Not only can they live side by side, but they benefit each other.

Learn more about the benefits of their co-existence in this video.

Brent Brock

We say goodbye to a dear friend, trusted colleague, and one heck of a smart man. Brent left us too early and yet his accomplishments were felt across the landscape.

We are incredibly grateful for his work, his friendship, and his constant attention to the well-being of the people and wildlife in Montana.

We will miss you and always remember you.
