Chemotherapy is most often used to treat cancer, as cancerous cells grow rapidly compared to non-cancerous cells. Chemotherapy is able to kill these fast-growing cells throughout the body. Here is a breakdown on three of the methods chemo uses to kill cells.

The mRNA RSV vaccine candidate by Moderna consists of an mRNA sequence encoding for a stabilized prefusion F glycoprotein. The technology follows a similar technology as the SARS-CoV-2 mRNA vaccines, by encapsulating this mRNA inside of a lipid nanoparticle to deliver the mRNA and then allow our bodies to produce the protein desired (F protein).
