Lebanese women are gaining prominence in ongoing anti-government protests. Known as the 'frontline women', there is an unprecedented presence of women in the streets from Beirut to Tyre. The protests, with scores forming human chains across Lebanon, are raising new questions for political change in the region as well as around women's voices in the public space (Via Middle East Eye).
