Firstly, The Pdac wish to apologise for the delay on reopening.

The committee felt that certain measures should be in place, not only for the safety of current members, but set in place a system that would be fair to everyone over the coming weeks.

 

The Pdac will open the following waters through an on-line booking system. (available on the website from Saturday evening).

 

Harting Combe, Nyewood Ponds & Bopeep Pond.

(Mill Rythe will remain closed)

 

The club will be Implementing the following temporary rules during the Covid-19 pandemic.

 

All Pdac waters can only be fished once members have booked in on-line.

 

No Booking—No Fishing

 

Swim allocation will be restricted per water due to both Social Distancing and Car Park space.

 

Guest Tickets, Exchange Permits and Complementary Permits will not be permitted till July.

 

Allocation of Bookings

Week 18th May, Members will only be allocated 2 bookings across all         venues.

Week 25th May and onward, 3 allocation of bookings.

The club will monitor the demand of bookings during this period and will adjust allocations accordingly.

 

Members currently Retired, Unemployed or currently Furloughed may consider week day fishing to allow weekends for those currently working.

 

Any member found abusing the booking system, will have their membership revoke for 3 months.

 

1 Adult member & 1 Junior/Juvenile member from the same household in same swim will be classed as 1 allocation. (Members will be requested to add Junior/Juvenile details on booking form)

 

THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUAL WATER RESTRICTIONS WILL APPLY

 

Harting Combe

 

The gate will be open 8am Monday for members, and no sooner.

10  Day Session Bookings per day, 1 per member.

5 Night Session Bookings per night , 1 per member.

Bookings are 12 hours max

Monday 18th: 8am-8pm Day sessions & 8pm-7am Night Sessions

Tuesday 19th onward 7am-7pm Day Sessions & 7pm-7am Nights

Members wishing to book 24 hours must book a day session plus a night session. (This will be classed as 1 booking allocation)

2 rods only. (This will be reviewed end of June).

 

All Swims must be vacated by the end of the allocated booking, any member found extending their stay will have their membership revoked for 3 months.

Pdac baliffs will be stepping up checks throughout.

All general venue rules apply, No Keepnets or Sacks permitted, all fish must be returned immediately.

Nyewood Ponds

10 bookings per day, 1 per member.

Monday 18th May, 8am-8pm Day Sessions.

Tuesday 19th May and onwards 6am-8pm Day Sessions.

All general venue rules apply, No keepnets permitted.

Swims 7&8 Bottom pond, allocated to families from same household, if individual member selects one of these swims, the other swim must remain vacant.

Swim 18 allocated to families from same household.

Swims 14-26 on Top Pond are closed.

Swims  11, 13-17 & 21 on Bottom Pond are closed.

Members wishing to fish swims 18-20, must approach them via the gates and over the bottom dam.

 

Bopeep Pond

5 bookings per day, 1 per member.

All general venue rules apply, No keepnets permitted.

Families from same household to remain in same swim.

Swim 2 is closed.

Where do I book?

The booking system will be situated on the club Home Page website (Saturday evening)

How do I book?

You simply register with an email address, this will set up an account in your name.

You simply select the day you wish to fish

Agree to the rules that have been set by the Pdac and select continue

Fill in all of the required fields and select continue

Your booking will be confirmed

 

How will I know that my booking has been confirmed?

You will receive an email confirming your booking and you will also receive an additional email reminding you the day before your booking.

 

Do I need to show my booking to the Baliff?

We advise members to carry a print out or show the email from your phone of the booking to the bailiff if required.

 

Members must carry their valid permit at all times, and display their parking permits.

Do I need to do anything else?

No, you are good to go!

Can I get help if I require it?

Yes, a contact number will be available.

We advise members to use the booking system, a phone call will not speed up your booking.

 

Further Rules

 

All members must supply their own PPE (Toilet rolls, Gloves, Sanitiser & Wipes). The Pdac will not supply any Toiletries for portaloo’s where provided.

 

All members must wear gloves to open gates and wipe down toilets after use.

All members must follow the Phase 1 Intro advised by the Angling Trust.
