Praise to Jesus, my MarchMin friends! Even when "hard pressed on every side" (2 Corinthians 4:8) we look to heaven and cry, "Glory to Jesus!" The entire verse reads, "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed but not in despair." Paul was writing about the challenges and persecution he endured. But we can easily apply his words to today. it's true we're "hard pressed" - and also "not crushed." We walk in supernatural calm that only comes from deep relationship...with Jesus! |

The headline at the top of my newsletter, "Because they didn't know the Scriptures," is a quote from one of Christianity's past greats, Pastor Chuck Smith, who is credited with sparking the Jesus Hippie movement of the late 60's - early 70's. |

Pastor Chuck passed to the Lord in 2013 but his teaching continues on radio/online. He was saying that the Jews of Jesus' day should have recognized He was Messiah since it was clearly spelled out in their Scriptures. But they missed it - and here came the quote - "because they didn't know the Scriptures." |

My friends, may I take this moment to encourage us all to turn our hearts and attention and time...to God's Word. He is surely using this difficult season to do His bidding - and we don't want to miss it. And He literally "speaks" to us through His Word - every encouragement we'll ever need; every answer to fear; every hope and promise of victory; every thing of truth, leadership and direction... His promise for your life is very real, my Marchmin friend - and you'll find it in His Word. Glory to the name of Jesus! |

We have wonderful news from South Africa. Many of you emailed me with your concern for the children we serve. Many of you said you'd surely be praying for them. Well...the Lord has heard your cry! Here's the email I received this week... |

"Moruti (Pastor), by God's grace we are handling the children the best we can. The feeding had to stop due to government regulations. However I have spoken to Mama to continue cooking meals for the children in need. She agreed and now they go have their meal every day at her shack. Not all of the children but word will spread through the village and the others will hear and come..." May you who prayed for these children, and you who donate to their care hear the whisper of almighty God, "Behold the fruit of your sacrifice!" Glory to Jesus! |

Progress on The Gospel According to John continues in spite of the film world being shut down. I received so much response about the Jerusalem model I shared in my last letter I thought I'd share its latest progress. |

As you can see, details are starting to take shape - and yet there is so far to go. It's a painstaking process that involves countless labor-hours. Usually a production would have an entire team of technicians working on this one shot. But because of budget this is being accomplished by a team of - one! Please pray for Daniel as he and I work head to head daily, developing these visuals, detail by detail...so we can bring you the most excellent Gospel film possible! Thank you so much!
