CLIMATE JUSTICE ALLIANCE

We begin at the top of the year with the giant

and overarching theme of ENVIRONMENT–

an almost impossible subject for its expanse and width of everything…

and a perfect place to begin again.

Because we are the environment.

And so is the oil that used to be dinosaurs.

And the melting permafrost.

And our cubicles left dusty for much of the last 2 years in the limbo of Covid.

And the birds and the bees and the trees and the conditions that threaten the birds and the bees and the trees…

But when the environment is out of balance – including our rights, our health, our energy systems, our economy, our ability to thrive where we live— then we are out of balance.

That’s why this month we are supporting

Climate Justice Alliance...

Climate Justice Alliance works towards a just transition of our economy and ecology by connecting and supporting the work of communities that are building regenerative and resilient futures.

They amplify and mobilize the work of almost 75 urban and rural frontline communities, organizations and their supporting networks and alliances in the climate justice movement, promoting community resilience, economic equity and climate stability.

By centering their work around the necessary rebalancing of race, gender and class and placing the power and narratives in the hands of those most affected and therefore most equipped to transform existing and failing structures, the Climate Justice Alliance has become an indispensable resource for a just transition into regenerative, local and community driven new economies.

Climate Justice Alliance holds multiple points of action, and knows that one issue cannot be solved without addressing all of them, from regional food systems to sustainable housing to worker’s rights to clean community energy models….

They create campaigns that effectively challenge antiquated and harmful models of the extractive economy and help create environmental practices towards worker centered climate jobs. Campaigns and programs like their Energy Democracy, Food Sovereignty, Just Recovery, and Our Power Communities.

Please take the time to look deeper into their work, follow them

and directly support their efforts HERE.

We’re excited to support Climate Action Alliance this month and throughout the year through our CSAction fund.

Throughout 2022, we're gonna show how everything is everything, and connect the dots between the largest subjects of our time, to stop trying to whack-a-mole our way to liberation and start valuing cross-pollination and complex creative solutions.

We're gonna see more and more how all this work starts to work together.

Thank you for your support now and always.
