Trevor Stewart looked good all weekend. He struggled to get upfront early and run the pace of the top 5, but he was right there all race. He is healthy and ready to hit it hard at WORCS Glen Helen Round 2 this weekend.
In his words:
"Coming into the weekend I felt good and confident in my abilities, especially after my last round podium finish. I felt good Saturday, and was ready for sundays race. Off the start, I got a subpar jump and came out of the first turn in maybe 7th, but quickly made a few passes and got through to 5th. I followed Dante for 2 laps and was matching him until I started over riding the bike. I don’t know what happened. I flustered myself, started making huge mistakes with one that costed me big my swapping out at the top of the hill. I regrouped, but never truly recovered. P-6. It was ugly for me, but not every day is perfect. I’m having comfort problems in the races. My arms blow up like balloons and I feel under gunned. We will get em this weekend at Glen Helen. Thank you to all of our sponsors for your hard work."
