Lucy H. West is a Philadelphia-based artist with a Japanese background. Her artwork revolves around “human consciousness” and “inner experience,” a theme relatable to all of us. She went to an international school in Tokyo where she took interest in many forms of artwork, and during her studies in Dickinson College, she spent one year studying abroad in Rome. After graduating in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and a minor in Economics, she worked 3 years in Barnes Foundation and complete her residency later in Madrid, Spain.
