Thousands of years ago, the yoga sages observed and emulated the natural world around them. They noticed the curve of a bird's beak, leaves curling and collecting cool dewfall.
The sages, through nature, found a pranayama that cools and soothes mind/body- "Sitali" breath.
Sitali pranayama allows practitioners to sip cool, moist air and exchange it for unnecessary heat.
Sitali cools the body and mind.
It adds welcome moisture to the system and soothes that hot, irritated pitta imbalance that dominates in summertime.
