When:

A series of 5 webinars, each one 1.5 hours long.

Tuesday’s at 11:00 a.m. NY time/ 6:00 p.m. Israel time.

Why:

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, stay-at-home policies and social distancing measures have interrupted youth education and led to a crisis in youth behavior and an increase in mental health conditions. Yet, despite these troubling trends, young people have also been an energetic force at the forefront of developing creative solutions to an inclusive, sustainable pandemic recovery.

In this Hub, we will explore successful models of teen engagement from around the world and ways to build a stronger teen community as we move forward.

As a resource for youth leaders, we partnered with Responcity- a cutting-edge world-known program- to bring to the JCC field an educational resource.

Cost:  $100 per person or $200 per JCC sending up to 3 participants

For communities in need, subsidies will be available upon request

Goals:

  1. Create a safe space for JCC youth/teen leaders from around the world to collaborate and connect as a way to elevate the field.

  2. Understand the social and emotional influences of two years into a global pandemic and ways to embrace and heal.

  3. Explore the Responcity model as a successful tool to empower youth.
