Centre County Human Services Block Grant Public Hearing & Service Provider Survey |
|
|
Dear Service Providers, This year we will be holding our first of two public hearings for the FY 2019 – 2020 Human Services Block Grant Funding on Monday March 25th at 5:30pm at the Patton Township Municipal Building. We are asking that providers send at least one staff person to the public hearing. Service recipients, family members, and community members are also welcome to attend. We are requesting that providers are prepared to discuss the service needs and issues they are seeing in our human services community. We want this public hearing to be a forum to hear ideas, show support, and collaboratively look towards the future of the services in our community. County staff will provide a brief overview of the Human Services Block Grant and plan on allowing the time to be filled with discussion points by providers, service recipients, and community members. One change that we are making to help us better identify the human service needs in Centre County is have our service providers complete a brief survey before the meeting. The surveys should be submitted via email to Natalie Corman at nwcorman@centrecountypa.gov by Monday March 18, 2019, which is a week before the public hearing. This will allow us time to review your survey responses and possibly discuss at the public hearing. Please type your responses and submit the survey as an attachment. If you have any questions please let me know. Sincerely, Natalie W. Corman Human Services Administrator |
