Summer Concert Series: July 23rd On July 23rd, we were invited to be a part of an incredible fundraiser at the Mount Shasta Summer Concert Series. It was an honor to be there representing SCF in our adorable town. We had a booth with our merch, as well as flyers for parents with information on fentanyl. Many of you came and gave hugs, supported us, bought our merch, asked us about Sam, and asked questions about fentanyl. Thank you for showing up for us, it keeps us going. The concert series raised over $3,000 for SCF and we are so grateful! We will continue to do fentanyl presentations in schools this fall and plan to attend many more events where we can sell our merch and spread awareness. Seeing you in our hoodies, t-shirts, crewnecks, etc. makes our hearts tender, proud, and inspired: they are beautiful reminders of how many people loved Sam. Thank you deeply for being with us on this journey. |

Kalia's Food for Thought Reflection Ah, summer; never long enough, but always what we need. Often filled with moments of rest, refreshment, and a deep sense of community and connections. As we anticipate the coming of fall and all that it entails from going back to work or school and switching gears, how can we be intentional about taking time to reflect and consider the next steps of our lives? Many times, life is fast-paced and moving so quickly we don’t make time for those intimate and deep moments of reflection about where we have been, where we are, and where we are going. As the seasons consider changing, it only makes sense that as part of creation- we would too. Change can be hard, and transitions can feel so abrupt when we do not give ourselves space and time to consider what we have learned, who we are, and where we would like to be. This is your invitation to reflect, and to be mindful to celebrate the ways you have grown, as well as welcome new seasons of life as you seek the next best step. As we appreciate the journey of the seasons, let us also appreciate the seasons of our own life - wherever we may be. Love and blessings friends, Kalia |
