Feed A Child
Your compassion and generosity have been the sustaining financial undergirding of this ministry. Life is hard in the slums of Kampala where the average monthly income is 50,000 to 80,000 UGX ($14.00 to $22.00).
The life sustaining food provided at New Planet Primary School is for many students the only meals they will have. On behalf of the thousands, upon thousands of meals that have been provided in our seven-year history of the Feed A Child outreach, thank you!
Born to Win Skilling Center
Cited as one of poorest countries in the world, Kampala's slums have given birth to vulnerable youth struggling against all odds to break the cycle of poverty into which they were born.
BCM's work in Kampala has focused on Namuwongo slum, the second largest ‘slum’ area in Kampala, with some 15,000 ‘official’ residents, although some estimate that this figure can be as high as 30,000.
Many of the unemployed are youth and young adults 18 to 30 years of age. BCM along you, our faithful donors, and Pastor David Turyatemba, our partner in Kampala, are extending hope into the slums though Born to Win Skilling Center. Together we are making a difference, thank you!
Broken Clay Church Savings and Credit Cooperative (SACCO)
Launched in 2022 we are eternally grateful for the empathy and kind heartedness of those who caught the vision to stand with us by investing in providing funding to enable micro-finance loans available to vetted and qualified candidates. You have played an essential role in extending the tangible love of Jesus, thank you!
