HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY RESIDENTS AND VISITORS! |
|
|
Hello July! July is a busy month in the Woodfield community with a wide array of activities happening. Independence Day is one of the best American holidays, both for what we celebrate and how we celebrate it. If you're looking to experience some 4th of July festivities, the City of Show Low is known for its parade and fireworks show. There are some great sites still available for Park Model homes. Woodfield has grown very successfully thanks to the amazing Woodfield residents and the referrals of friends to the community. Woodfield offers a referral program to say “Thank You” for the support and recommendation. If you have a friend interested in buying, please contact Smitty. |

WOODFIELD UPDATES & REMINDERS |
|
|
- USPS - USPS no longer delivers packages to individual units. The post office has agreed to place all oversized deliveries (those that won’t fit in mailbox) in the Pavilion. A notification slip will be placed in the recipient's mailbox, indicating that a package is in the Pavilion.
- Landscaping - Please remember to submit a landscape worksheet to the RV office for approval prior to starting any landscaping.
- Service Requests - If you would like to request service (estimates, materials, services) from the Woodfield team please utilize the Service Request form. It can be found on our website here. Submitting a Service Request (also called a "work order") helps the Woodfield team stay organized and ensures proper scheduling.
- Electric Payments - We no longer accept credit cards as payment for electric services; check or cash only. An invoice will be emailed to you at the end of the month, and we ask that you drop your payment in the RV office during RV office business hours or in the payment box that is attached just outside the office for your convenience. We will accept a bulk payment in the form of a check and credit your account. Each month, we will debit the monthly electric amount from that account credit. Submit a bulk payment for the remainder of the season and be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate of your choice for Pizza Factory, Licano's, or Walmart.
- Resale Homes - If you are contemplating the sale of your home, please be aware that specific procedures must be followed. It is important that you schedule an appointment with the office prior to initiating any sale activity. Also, please note that a transfer fee will apply to all resales.
Smoke Detectors - Often times, the 9-volt battery in the smoke detectors will fail and you will come back to a “chirping” smoke detector inside your Park Model. You may submit a Service Request and a Woodfield team member will change your battery for a fee of $25. As an alternative, Timber Mesa Fire District will come out and replace your battery for free. You can call them at 928-537-5100.
- Pets - It is important that all pet owners follow the pet policies of the Park. All waste must be picked up and disposed of promptly. All pets, including cats, must be fenced or kept on a leash, when outside. Pets must never be tied up outside and left unattended. Pets must be accompanied by owners and under voice command/control at all times inside Woodfield. Pets may not use any site, other than your own, as "potty spots" or “dog runs”.
- Mail - Mailbox receptacles are located at the rear of the Pavilion. If you are currently an RV guest or have closed on your Woodfield home and do not have a mailbox key, please stop by the RV office during normal business hours and the office staff will assign one to you. When forwarding your mail, please format your address as follows, inserting your site # at the end of the second line. Please do not include the word “lot” or “site”.
Your name 3851 Vacation Village Drive, #______ Show Low, AZ 85901 - Wi-Fi - Wi-Fi internet is intended to be used for simple internet communication such as sending and receiving email as well as basic web surfing for personal use. Streaming video is prohibited. Each site is limited to (2) devices connected to the Wi-Fi network at any given time. Stop by the RV office during RV office hours or Email office@woodfieldrv.com to receive the Wi-Fi password. Wi-Fi is supported by Rim Tech Solutions. Please call 844-906-0658 if you have issues with the Wi-Fi.
- Lending Library - There is a lending library in The Pavilion. It is full of books and DVDs for our residents to borrow. Please feel free to take a book or DVD and return it when you are finished. Have a book or DVD you’d like to donate to the lending library? Just place it on the shelves with the others…and thank you!
- Park Etiquette - We know it's tempting to cut through the back of your site and through your neighbors' site or driveway behind your home but please do not do it. Please use the roadway while walking instead of taking a shortcut by cutting through other sites. We understand that taking shortcuts by walking through other sites saves time and energy but please respect your neighbors’ space and privacy.
- Rocks/Trees - Please do not take any native rocks or other materials (down/dead wood) from neighboring lots or Woodfield property. If you would like to purchase native rocks or materials, please submit a service request to receive a price. .
