Maryland Youth Advisory Council (MYAC) Deadline: June 30, 2022 The Maryland Youth Advisory Council was established through the State legislature in order to ensure that Maryland youth are given the opportunity to provide feedback and recommendations regarding public policies and programs that affect their future and to take a leadership role in creating meaningful change. Council members must be 14 - rising juniors (as of 9/1/22) if applying through MASC for a two-year term appointment. |

June 21: In the Work2BeWell Mental Wellness Unit, students will create their own emotional first-aid kit. Their kit will include sounds, sights, touches, smells, trusted contacts (humans), and journaling (take action). The first-aid kit will prepare teens in helping to reduce stress in tense situations and proactively care for their mental health. |
