We hope you are well!
We are hosting a safe space town hall for our Jewish members next week. If you feel affected in any way by last weekend's events at the Royal Court and want to be in a Zoom room with like-minded friends, please join us. Reply to members@menaarts.uk with the subject line 'Royal Court'. Indicate what the best kind of time would be for you to have this Zoom, 2hours across lunch or an evening next week, and Steering Group member Philip Arditti will be back in touch by Friday afternoon with a time that most people can do.
We have two more of our free workshops coming up soon!
'Inclusive MENA+ Stories for Children' led by Nadine Kaadan on 15th November at the Arab British Centre, and 'Access Training: Making your Artistic Practise Accessible And Welcoming to Sanctuary Seekers', in partnership with Stand and be Counted on November 18th online. You can book your tickets for these workshops and more HERE.

Our position on endorsement.
Our main areas of work is to help connect the creative industries with UK MENA+ talent, so we will always share castings, job opportunities, or marketing information. We will track these projects in the hope that they are a great example of how MENA+ talent is used. But by sharing this information, it should not be seen as an endorsement of the project.
We will call out work that is appropriating a MENA+ narrative and does not have MENA+ talent at the heart of the creative process; and we will always champion, front and centre, work that is made for and by MENA+ talent.
