first camera—a slim pocket camera that used 110 cartridge film—more than 40 years ago. At the time, I figured the film would capture whatever my naked eye missed. When my developed photos arrived weeks after I sent the cartridge to be developed, I spent hours studying every detail. As you can see, I still take pictures of mushrooms. These are the first images I captured this year. If you look closely, you might see the blurry arm or leg of an elf or small fairy scurrying away, trying not to be photographed. |
