Telisha Woodfin is the founder of Liv Loved RVA, offering postpartum support services for individuals and families with children ages 0-5. Through services such as parent coaching, doula support, and infant massage education, they nurture strong parent-child bonds and effective communication. With 'Empowering Families, Nurturing Communities' as their mantra, LIVLoved acknowledges and supports the unique individuality of every family unit. They are committed to meeting families exactly where they are in their journey, empowering them to reach their desired destination through personalized postpartum plans.
I was immediately inspired upon learning of the services Telisha offers, as they are MUCH needed, especially in the Black American community. We say it takes a village, but many of us do not have one during what is of the most crucial times in a families life and even when we do, we are sometimes reluctant to accepting help. Having this care more accessible to our people is personally important to me.
Liv Loved offers an abundance of free resources on her website. Gift cards are available which makes THE PERFECT gift at your next baby shower. Donations are accepted to help offset cost associated with providing services to those who may not be able to afford them.
This to me is what community looks like.
