Dear members and friends of NCBWL,
As we enjoy spring which appears to be finally here to stay, we have been very active in our recent events and planning upcoming meetings. The Board and I are so very grateful to the team that worked on the Business Expo held on Wednesday, April 18. In particular, Dee Stoffer had the vision and was successful as usual making it happen. I personally was thrilled with the number of guests that joined us from many different parishes thanks to the amazing publicity leadership that Barbara Esteves-Moore and Lisa Link provided for us. Teri Gordon, First VP managed our presence and participation at the Catholic Charities Annual fundraising breakfast event last Friday, May 4. As a Bronze Sponsor, NCBWL expressed our support of their important mission for our Diocese. Thank you to Teri and those members that were able to attend including, Kathleen Pohlid, immediate past president and her husband, Roman Pohlid.
On Tuesday, May 22, we will have a kickoff meeting for our 2018 Luncheon/Auction/Fashion Show scheduled for Saturday, September 15 back at Richland Country Club.
