Spring has sprung???

While the bulbs may not be blooming yet, we are experiencing some change in our office (and in the families connected to our office) this spring!!

Our very own Chiropractic Health Assistant (CHA), Emma Kirk, will be continuing to work in our office until the end of the summer.  After that time we are proud to announce that she will be starting her graduate studies at the University of Guelph in the field of Landscape Architecture!!

We hope you have the chance to come in to see her soon so that she can tell you all about her future plans!!

And we would be remiss not to boast a little about Emma's brother, our own third goalie, Fraser Kirk who not only was named the OJHL Goaltender of the Year in a ceremony in Georgetown last week but he has also been offered a hockey scholarship to Bentley University in Boston, MA!

I am sure that you have had the opportunity to see these two grow into their adulthood as they spent time in this office through their youth.  It is exciting to continue to watch them flourish as they mature into the next phases of their lives.

Speaking of watching people we care about flourishing as they mature into the next phases of their lives ... how beautiful is this engagement picture of our own Briar Culbert and her fiance Andrew? Many of you had the opportunity to get to know Briar when she was working as a CHA here at the office.  Then she returned to school and is not only a Student of Psychotherapy practicing part-time from our office but she also runs our Tuesday Meditation classes.

We want to take this time to offer our sincere congratulations to both Briar and Andrew as they celebrate their pending nuptials this spring.

Not only do we want to watch the next generation flourish but we want to see growth in our office as well.  To that end we have a few positions we are currently hiring for.  We are looking for a part-time CHA as well as professional caregivers.  Should you be interested or know someone who might be looking, please click the image above to see the opportunities posted on our web site!

And finally, Dr. Hayward and I were talking recently about the questions we respectively hear with regard to how she treats animals.  Questions like, "how does chiropractic work on a dog?", "why would my cat benefit from chiropractic treatments?", "do you work collaboratively with my vet to treat my furry family member?" etc.

With many people being unfamiliar with chiropractic adjustments for pets, we wanted to collect and answer the questions you have through our web site (as an FAQ) as well as on our various social media platforms.

If you have a question about Animal Chiropractic then please send me a quick email to let me know what it is and I will make sure that we get back to you!!

We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you in the near future!!  Until then, we will continue to hope that Spring arrives soon and that you are able to get out and enjoy the sunshine and warmer weather!!
