the weekly Round-Up

Hola from Tenerife Round-Up Readers!

Happy Memorial Day and UK Bank Holiday weekend! If you're working, you're busy, and if you're relaxing, you're a different busy––so I'll keep it short!

It's been a crazy week! I came back from Oslo--highly recommend a visit and stay at the Sommerro and Villa Inkognito--to attend the opening of the new House of Ming restaurant at the Taj St. James' Court in London. BTW, Taj Hotels in London has two amazing female leaders Mehrnavaz Avari and Araceli Rius-Perez, more to come on these inspiring women!

The following evening was the UK premiere of The Lost Tourist, this eye-opening documentary produced by G Adventures founder Bruce Poon Tip is a must-watch (you can find it on Apple, Hulu, and Amazon). The film shines a light on the horrors of irresponsible tourism — abuse of people, children, communities, places, and animals. And while there are many issues to address globally, you are left with a hopeful message about how travel can be a force of positive change.

Then we headed on a last-minute trip to the Ritz-Carlton Abama in Tenerife, literally booked Wednesday at midnight, and flew on Friday!

Let's get to the news!
