Norwich Events Organization is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 all-volunteer committee that organizes community events for the citizens of Norwich and our surrounding community.  These events are funded 100% by tax-deductible donations. Our mission is to further the economic prosperity of the City of Norwich, CT and the surrounding region through improving the vibrancy and quality of life through community events.

Each year it takes about $60,000 to produce our 3 major events. Typically in a normal year, about 50% would come from sponsorships and donations and 50% would come from other events and fundraisers. Due to COVID, we have unfortunately not been able to host any of the events that would typically bring in funds.

We have no paid staff, so 100% of the funds we raise through events and sponsorships go towards producing and advertising the Norwich St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival, the Norwich Harbor Fireworks and the Winterfest Parade.
