Dear Friend,

As I write to you from South Dakota, winter is in full force and temperatures have been frigid cold. Just like you and I, seasonal depression is something we can all be affected by. Survivors are already dealing with so much; this time of year can feel even harder.

It has been a busy few weeks at the Pathfinder Center. As I look back at the events and conversations that have taken place, I am disheartened to admit that the center is needed more than ever. The trafficking survivors we help are struggling and so many need our services.

By God’s grace and thanks to all our supporters, the Pathfinder Center is doing everything in its power to protect and offer a long-term place of healing for human trafficking victims.

The lives of these women are forever changed because of advocates like you who financially invest in their freedom. Because of YOU, we are able to provide shelter, food, and a place to recover from their trauma. But there are many more victims who are in urgent need of safety, hope and healing today.

When victims first enter the center, our staff begins helping them with the severe trauma they have endured. Far too often, a person's basic needs are not met while they are being trafficked. They come to us scared, undernourished, and unsure of what tomorrow might bring. Through counseling, education, and building new friendships at the Pathfinder Center, they feel safe. This takes time and patience for all involved.

Today we are asking you to help us continue to offer a long-term place of healing for human trafficking victims. Please consider donating to ensure that their long-term care will never be lost and the support they receive through the Pathfinder Center is one they can count on for generations.

On behalf of the Pathfinder Center, I want to thank you for helping the women. I am so grateful for the support you have given — the lives you have touched and changed, by the power of your generosity and love.

The women we serve are worth it. We will stand with them.

Will you help us?
