Home sales are a bit slower this season then they were this time last year. Days on market are moving higher, which usually indicates a market slowdown: That being said, the market average is only 26 days, so we are still experiencing a strong sellers market. Sales prices are staying strong, but I am noticing several properties that are over priced or poorly marketed that have been sitting on the market or phasing out as Buyers reject it and the Seller loses hope. I believe that inventory will stay low this Winter and into early Spring, providing Sellers with more time to capitalize on the market if done correctly. If your curious about good timing for your home sale, give me a ring! Until, then have a wonderful holiday and enjoy the snow! -Greg |
