The festive season is fast approaching us with just over 3 weeks to go! Are you and your pet ready for Christmas?

Keep a close eye on your pets around your festive treats- chocolate, fruitcake and ham are all in abundance at this time of the year but can be very harmful to your pets if eaten. Chocolate is a common offender and toxicity cases skyrocket in December every year.

If you suspect that your pet has consumed any of these, give us a call on 07 3288 1822 or if we are closed contact Animal Emergency Service on 07 3715 9999 as soon as you can.

Our first round of Puppy Preschool has been a success! The puppies will be graduating this Saturday, just in time to show their families how well behaved they are at Christmas. We will be holding another round of puppy preschool starting the second week of January, so if your new addition will be 8-16 weeks old, we would love to have them. Give the clinic a call to organise a meet and greet or to secure your spot. Places are limited so act fast!

Some exciting but sad news, our Dr Lauren Stack will be leaving us at the end of the year. She has been chosen to go and do an internship at Veterinary Specialist Services! This is an exciting opportunity for Lauren to further her skills and be involved in some exciting cases. Lauren will be sadly missed by staff, clients, and patients alike.

Lastly, we would like to inform all of our clients that we will be closed for a much-needed break between Christmas and New Year.

Our Christmas trading hours will be as followed:

December 24th - 8am till 4pm

December 25th - Closed

December 30th – Closed

December 31st - Closed

Best wishes to you and your pets this festive season. See you in the new year!

Top Nutrition Tips for Senior Dogs (part 1)

We all know how essential it is to eat right to stay healthy, but the impact of nutrition on senior dogs' health is even more significant.
