Happy October! Here is my gift to you, dear reader!
 
I put together a little video short for you to put you in the mood for spooky October. Here is the exclusive premier viewing of Night Studio before anyone else sees it. Don't forget to turn up the sound! Let me know what you think, it was a little "out there" for me, but it was super fun to make and I can't wait to hear what you think of it!

One of the perks of being on this mailing list is being the first to know about special events we have coming up. Below are two events, one in Wisconsin, which I told you about last issue and the other, not yet announced to the public here in NY.

Return to Wisconsin: 20th Earth, Wood & Fire Tour
 
Sandhill Bill and I will be showing our work at Cambridge Wood Fired Pottery Oct. 26-27 10AM - 5PM
 
The fun of this South Central Wisconsin driving tour is seeing the behind-the-scenes at art studios and workshops. 
 
While visiting Mark Skudlarek's beautiful pottery showroom, tour goers can also see our display in the house. I will have cut paper and charcoal pieces for sale and will be demonstrating my paper cutting techniques like the Black Crappie pictured above. 
 
My furniture-maker husband was the founder of this driving tour and it was Bill's labor of love for 15 years. The tour is still going strong and we are excited to be guest artists. Twenty years is a big deal for such an event. 
 
Hope you can stop by from 10AM-5PM both days this weekend. Come see what we have been creating!

POP UP GALLERY 2019
planned for Nov 30th
 
Did you make to it our POP UP Gallery last year? It was our first time turning this old house into an art gallery and it was a great success with Bill & me both showing our work. We are thrilled to set up the gallery again November 30th.
 
This year we will have even more to offer, opening up twice the space and inviting two additional artists, Kim Turner and photographer Karen Glosser
 
We will be serving refreshments at this open-house style event and have the walls and tables full of beautiful original art and prints for sale along side Sandhill Bill's furniture. 
 
Look for small works created specifically for this event and in time for the holidays.
 
We are still hammering out the details, so watch for your official invitation.
