Hiiiii!!! I am back after a little two month hiatus which was well spent having the time of my life getting married and honeymooning. WE'RE MARRIED!! It really meant everything to be able to be fully submersed in it all. We had the most beautiful wedding weekend in October, a three week 'homeymoon' getting everything organized again (almost there), followed by two weeks in Phuket. We got back just before Thanksgiving and by the weekend, the house was decorated for Christmas. Whooooo, Time seems like it keeps passing quicker by the day. |

The moment we've (I've) all been waiting for has happened starting from Monday.......
I am finally moving into the new studio space!!! I am so enjoying carving out my little corner of the space and finally hanging everything on the beautiful walls we made :) I am living for the plasters hanging against the black wall. If I wasn't sold on black walls before, I 100% am now. |

Haven't gotten it all filled in yet, but am adding something new everyday. V excited for the mat frames I just ordered for all the small flower drawings, the black and gold combo is going to be a favorite :) |

While I might have had a short break from making sculptures, I was no where near having a break from creating. I really did have so much fun being the 'creative director' of our wedding. I worked with the BEST team to make it all come to life. I know I have said it here before that I am not the best with technology but I did make it my friend over the course of designing all the graphics and paper items (and making/assembling-nothing could be just one step...it was all about the layers) (....also shout out to my friend Tina that helped me hand stamp all of the ceremony programs days before when I had run out of time)
....also you should know this probably won't be the one and only time I share photos, there are a few choice shots I am waiting for :) |

After all the traveling and running around, I really enjoyed getting to meditate on these blooms for a bit. I love how drawing can become centering. |

**FUN FACT** Christmas Cactus (also called Schlumbergera bridgesii) is not actually apart of the cactus family, it is in the succulent family. |

Writing to you from a cozy household ready for the holiday season. I'm not a big fan of the cold and dark of winter, but if we can have twinkle lights and ornaments, I am all for it. Our honeymoon in Phuket did provide the perfect tropical escape for the beginning of the cold. It truly was a beautiful time and for us, the perfect way to honeymoon. Everything was a new experience to us and with an added layer of a deep language barrier, it was like we were in our own little bubble of sweetness. Also, THE food! Wow, so many delicious new flavors and the fruit was the divine-okay, I will quit rambling and just leave you with some photos for now... |

And of course I couldn't end this email without a few wedding photos :) I am so excited for us to receive the full album because the sneak peek shots have been amazing so far! Here's some from our first look and then from the ceremony after. I still don't know how it looked (and felt) like a spring day at the end of October, but I have been thanking Mother Nature ever since then for taking care of us. |

I have to brag on Mel and Eric of Meric Moments again, they truly knocked it out of the park. I really looked through around 50 different portfolios and none of them brought what they brought to the table. I didn't want our photos to be edited to what's on trend (right now everything is either washed out or sepia toned) I wanted to make Art. Thats exactly what they do. Leaving their website here, they have a lot of beautiful images to sift through. |

In honor of having some of the best curries of my life recently - one of them being this Panang curry from Raya in Old Town Phuket - here is a recipe for Panang curry. I haven't tried it out yet, let me know how it goes if you do! Just click on the photo to get the recipe :) |
