Happy Valentine week to you!
We're well past the elementary valentine parties with the flurry of bright-colored exchange of superhero and princess cards being inserted into overly decorated boxes by sticky hands. Oh, how I loved the "wonder" of those ages! The boys anticipated everything with excitement and were enthralled by ordinary things like pancakes being served in special ways (e.g. heart-shaped, pink batter, extra goodies for the toppings).
I hope we can continue our sense of "wonder" as we explore scriptures we've read before in our ordinary days, yet open our hearts to receive the Word in new ways as we venture through the lens of different topics this year.
